Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

minime is a personal agent app built and operated by Developerz AI (admin@venom.is). This policy explains what data we collect when you use the minime iOS and Android apps and this website, and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

Account data

To create an account you provide an email address and/or sign in with Apple or Google. We store your email, display name, and provider identifier.

Conversation data

Messages you send to your minime agent, along with the AI responses, are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices. If you use the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) tier your messages are forwarded to the model provider you configure; on the Managed tier they are forwarded to our model provider (DeepSeek via OpenRouter).

Category and knowledge-base data

Notes, wiki pages, and configuration you create within Categories are stored on our servers and used to personalize your agent.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs (timestamps, IP addresses, error traces) and aggregate usage metrics (message counts, feature usage) to operate and improve the service. We do not sell this data.

Device data

Push-notification tokens are stored to deliver notifications you request. We do not access your contacts, photos, or microphone beyond the in-app voice-input feature (on-device transcription only; recordings are never uploaded).

3. How we use your data

Operate and deliver the minime service.
Authenticate you and protect your account.
Route your messages to the correct AI model upstream.
Send you notifications you have opted into.
Debug errors and improve reliability.
Calculate billing (message counts per billing period).

We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

4. Data sharing

We share data only as necessary to operate the service:

Model providers, your messages are forwarded to the AI provider your tier uses (DeepSeek via OpenRouter on Managed; your configured provider on BYOK). Their privacy policies apply to data processed by their models.
Infrastructure providers, hosting, database, and CDN services that process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
Legal obligations, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

5. API keys and secrets

If you use the BYOK tier your API key is stored in our encrypted secrets vault. It is never exposed to the client device, never logged in plaintext, and never sent to the AI model as part of a prompt. Keys are used solely to authenticate requests to the provider you specify.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings screen; deletion permanently removes your conversations, Categories, and profile within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Secrets (API keys, vault references) are stored in a dedicated encrypted vault and never included in conversation context or logs.

8. Children

minime is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us atadmin@venom.is.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use of minime after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
